Join a small international creative studio. We’re a small, friendly, and growing creative studio developing an original family-friendly animated series using the latest generative AI film-making technology. Our team currently includes one creative lead based in the United States and one other team member based in the Philippines. We’re looking for a third team member who wants to help shape the future of our studio.
Because we’re a small team, every person has a meaningful creative voice. Your ideas won’t disappear into a large organization. They’ll directly influence the stories we tell and how we tell them. We’re combining traditional cinematic storytelling with the latest generative AI technology to build original stories with memorable characters, imaginative worlds, and high production values. This is not a passive production role; we’re looking for a creative collaborator, not someone who simply waits to be told what to do. You’ll receive completed scripts, but you’ll have significant creative ownership over how those scripts become compelling visual stories. We’re looking for someone who naturally contributes ideas, explores creative possibilities, solves visual problems and enjoys collaborating with others. Great ideas can come from anyone on our team.
What you’ll do.
If you are the successful candidate, your role will be to transform written scripts into visual production plans:
• You’ll read scripts and interpret them visually.
• You’ll develop multiple creative approaches for how scenes could be told.
• Create storyboards and visual shot sequences. You’ll choose camera angles, composition, movement, pacing, transitions, and visual rhythm.
• Think cinematically about how every shot supports the story.
• Maintain continuity between shots and scenes.
• Create AI reference images using Midjourney or similar tools.
• Refine reference images in Adobe Photoshop whenever necessary.
• Prepare organized production packages for handoff.
• Participate in creative discussions throughout production and suggest ideas that improve storytelling, pacing, emotion, and visual impact.
One of the most important parts of this role is creative exploration. We rarely want the very first idea. When you’re given a scene, we’ll often ask you to develop two or more different visual approaches before deciding which direction best tells the story. One version might emphasize emotion, another might build suspense, another might create a stronger sense of wonder. We’ll discuss the options together before deciding which direction best serves the episode. If your instinct is to ask, “What if we tried this?” you’ll probably thrive here.
Above all else, we’re looking for someone who genuinely loves narrative storytelling. Not just beautiful images, stories, characters, emotion, adventure, mystery, and world building. You should enjoy asking questions like, how does this shot make the audience feel? Which camera angle best supports this moment? How can visual storytelling reveal character? Why would the character do that? How can we make this fictional world feel believable?
Experience in wedding videography, event filmmaking, indie film, photography, storyboarding, concept art, or animation is welcome. But if you’ve experimented with Midjourney, Runway, OpenArt, or other generative AI tools, we’d love to hear about it. If you haven’t, that’s perfectly okay. Curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to learn matter more than experience with any particular software.
You’ll need to be able to work independently. You’ll need to be proactive and enjoy contributing creative ideas. Reliable and consistent with deadlines, clear in communication, and prompt during work hours. Basic Adobe Photoshop skills, a computer capable of comfortably running the latest version of Photoshop, reliable high-speed internet suitable for transferring large image and video files, good written English and an enjoyment of learning new technology.
Although this is a remote position, we’re highly collaborative. Regular production meetings are an important part of our workflow, and you’ll be expected to actively participate in creative discussions, planning sessions and reviews, working hours are generally aligned with daytime in the Philippines.

We work hard because we care about creating something special, but we don’t believe great creative work comes from ego. We believe it comes from talented people who enjoy building great stories together.
Interview process. If shortlisted, we’ll invite you to a relaxed video conversation. First, we’d love to hear about you, your background, the creative work you’ve done, and what inspired you to pursue visual storytelling. We’ll also talk about the films, series, books, games, or other stories that have influenced your imagination. Then we’ll watch a short narrative film clip together and simply talk about it. We’ll ask what you notice, which shots stand out to you, why they work, or how you might approach a moment differently if it was your project.
Basic Adobe Photoshop skills
Experience using generative media tools like MidJourney (preferred but not required)
Storyboarding skills to visually plan scenes and narratives
An interest in filmmaking, especially visual storytelling, shot composition, lighting, and color grading
Digital file organization and asset management
